FAQs

What exactly does a pet wedding assistant do?

1

Think of me as your pet’s plus one!

I handle everything from walks, comfort, water/snacks and toilet breaks - to posing for photos and helping them be a part of the ceremony.

My job is to make sure your pet has a safe, fun day, and that you get adorable photos without any stress!

Absolutely! Whether it’s a confident trot, a casual stroll, or a treat motivated shuffle - I’ll help guide them and make sure they feel comfortable.

Ring bearer duties are optional - we can talk through this at our meet n greet!

2

Can my pet walk down the aisle?

Yep! I can safely transport your pet to and from the venue or photo locations, so both you and your guests can stay present on the day.

Each package includes up to 40km’s of travel from Adelaide CBD, with additional kilometres charged separately.

3

Do you provide transport?

I work with both cats and dogs!

Although, at the moment ‘The Whole Wag’ is available for canines only. Our feline friends aren’t suited to large crowds, it is safest to have them be present for photos only - but still apart of your day!

4

Which pets do you work with?

What if my dog isn’t good with people?

5

That’s okay! Many pets find weddings overwhelming.

At our Meet & Greet, we’ll chat about their personality and comfort level so we can make a plan that keeps them happy and calm.

If the aisle or crowd isn’t for them, we can adjust - perhaps our photos only package would be best for them. No pressure, no pushing, just what’s best for your pet.

Unfortunately, pet sitting services aren’t available at the moment. Although, this is something I’m working on for the future of Wag n’ Wed!

I can however suggest alternate services pending on availability.
